ASRH Day 2022

This one-day conference will provide opportunities for professional development and networking across research, clinical management and prevention, to ensure best practice and policy. The day’s program focuses on strengthening the linkages between sexual health and reproductive health services and rights. The program will explore population-based approaches to sexual and reproductive health particular for those affected by violence and LGBTQI people. We will also examine SRH across the life span and an integrated approach to the provision of contraception and abortion care. The conference will involve short presentations from national and international experts who will provide a vision for the future of reproductive health. This will be followed by panels and debates with key stakeholders who will explore the merits of these insights for policy and practice in Australian and New Zealand contexts.

The Case Presentation Breakfast provides an opportunity for trainees/early career clinicians to present difficult cases for discussion with peers. It offers the presenter valuable presentation experience, clinical guidance and the presenters selected for this session are offered complimentary registration to the conference. We encourage mentors and experienced clinicians to attend to provide expert guidance in discussions.

The conference dinner is an opportunity for delegates to network and catch up with colleagues in the sector. No formalities, an occasion to relax and enjoy. Delegates staying at the Novotel will be able to walk to the dinner venue. No transfers will be available.

Dr Nwokolo is Head of Global Patient Affairs at ViiV Healthcare and an honorary Consultant Physician in Sexual Health and HIV Medicine at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London where she continues to see patients in a combined general and menopause clinic. Dr. Nwokolo will discuss health issues faced by women living with HIV and share the progress of Positive Action initiatives.
